Thavnairian Calamari is a new fish in Endwalker that is used in some of the higher level cooking recipes. To fish them you need to purchase the Tome of Ichthyological Folklore from the splendors vender in Radz-at-Han and it needs to be the IIsabard and the northern empty version. You can purchase it using 16 Regional Folklore Traders token C purchased with White Gatherers scrips which you can obtain from deliveries or ocean fishing. Once you have the tome and use it you should teleport to The Great Work aetheryte then head north near where the Tower of Zot was located. It can be fished with a Versatile lure or with Mackerel Strips and normally sells well due to the fact its a high level fish that's in demand and you need to take extra steps to unlock it.
