Shadow Catfish are required for a level 25 fishing quest so people buy them frequently. They also are easy to catch. You can find them at Fallgourd Float in the North Shroud. Once you arrive you can fish them with a few kinds of bait but I use Moth Pupas as bait. Using the Patience action with the right hookset action will make catching them a lot easier since you will have to mooch a fish in order to catch one. Below is a video showing the location and the current value in my server. Always check the market board before doing it just to be sure its worth your time.
