Mythril ore is used frequently so it sells really fast. You can mine it in Southern Thanalan south east of the forgotten springs. You can use mining actions to speed up the process. The amount of money you can make depends on your server and current prices so always check the value before you collect a bunch so you don't waste your time. Most of the time though they have value because of how much they are used. Below is a video showing the location.
